A landmark hotel in Helsinki

Great location in the city center, easy access to concert and music hall, the Finlandia -house, Opera, art museums and the TÃ¶Ã¶lÃ¶ Bay with great outdoor activity possibilities. Hotel will need soon some refurbishments but it still OK with decor etc. Everything functions well, however. Restaurant downstairs is nice bar closes early (as most lobby bars in Finland) Fantastic gym, a reason by itself to come to this hotel.

Excellent location in relation to Opera and the main conference center, Finlandia House. Good tram connection to the business center of the city. Cozy lobby, spacious breafast area, deacent regular rooms. Good value for the price.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — I found the hotel to be of a high quality. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were all friendly. We caught the FinnAir bus straight from the plane and it dropped us off at the back of the hotel about 20 mins later. There is a nice lake and walkway opposite the hotel. It is easy and worthwile to walk into the city as there are some good sights on the way. It took us about 10 minutes. The olympic stadium is a 5 minute walk in the other direction. The breakfast was a buffet and was very good compared to other hotels that I have stayed at. The only reason I have not given it full marks is because there was no kettle in the room. Disaster!
