Hotel and spa facing the beach, located 15 minutes south Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, 30 minutes north from Miami International Airport and only 30 minutes north from The Port of Miami. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and amenities include cable TV, hairdryer, and coffee/tea maker. The resort has four on-site restaurants: the main dining room, the atrium lobby lounge, the poolside Splash Bar & Grill and Common Grounds a Coffee Bar (Open from 6:30 AM 22:00 PM Sunday-Saturday) which serves espressos, lattes and cappuccinos along with pastries, salads, wrap sandwiches as well as evening coffee and cordials with European desserts. Take away is also available. The hotel also has three pools, including a 240-foot lagoon-style pool that sits parallel to the beach and a suspended glass-bottom pool. There are 10 clay tennis courts on the premises and the 155-acre golf course is yards away. The European [hidden] features fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms and 17 treatment rooms.

Customer Rating:

This is my favorite hotel in the entire world. However, the service was not what it used to be. Front desk was difficult to deal with, made the simplest of things a long drawn out process. Had to call to get room cleaned. Was noisy due to construction. I stayed at the Hilton in Fort Lauderdale beforehand and would recommend it over the Westin Diplomat. Way better value.
