The hotel is located in Quarry Bay, conveniently just 13 minutes to Central, seven minutes to Causeway Bay, 10 minutes to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and 45 minutes to the international airport. It is just a one minute walk from MTR station Quarry Bay, exit C. A complimentary hotel shuttle bus services various places, including nearby shopping malls. This is a 4 star first class property. The hotel offers various banqueting and conference spaces and features an outdoor swimming pool. There are various convenience stores located within walking distance of the hotel. This hotel is recommended for all kind of travellers. This is a 33-storey high-rise building with a modern extension of glass and concrete construction. All 669 guest rooms and suites are well-appointed, in good condition and medium in size. The rooms offer either city or harbour views and have modern in-room facilities. The bathrooms are medium in size and most offer a comfortable shower cubicle. The Harbour View rooms are on lower floor which enjoy partial view of Victoria Harbour. The hotel has two major restaurants, a deli shop and a comfortable lounge for cocktails and snacks. The lobby is located on the first floor and is warm and welcoming. It also adjoins the hotel's coffee shop. 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 1 minute walk to the nearest metro station (quarrybay mtr station (exit c)), 45 kms to the nearest airport (hong kong), 6 km to the nearest fair site (hk convention & exhibition ctr), 7 km to the nearest station (hong kong station).

Nice place - well situated

Comme il n'y avait plus de chambre comme nous avions reserve, ils nous ont surclasses en nous offrant une suite. Le personnel est tres agreable - rien a redire dessus - juste que l'un d'entre eux nous a mal oriente sur un lieu qu'on souhaitait visiter. Le seul point negatif pour nous : cout du petit dej (15 euro par pers). Pas interessant si vous n'avez pas le temps - au moins 45 min. Nous avons prefere prendre le petit-dej au resto. A eviter, preferez le prendre directement dans votre chambre, il vous coutera bien moins cher (9-10 euro par pers).

Harbour Plaza North Point is the Place to be in HKG

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — Have visited Hong Kong many times and stayed at many different hotels there, but all in all still prefer the HPNP. The major good points include the location, friendly staffs and easy access to various public transport in Hong Kong. The price is competitive and amenities, such as restaurants and lounge with nightly music can't be beat. Would highly recommend this HPNP to anyone. The major dislike of the hotel is the high fees internet access. There is no free Wi-Fi whatsoever, not even in the public lobby and restaurants. Complained many times to the front desk staffs but with no response. The staffs are aware of this issue but was told that the management would not budge on this additional revenue from the hotel guests. It is rather sad. All competitive starred hotels offer free Wi-Fi in the public areas. Hope someday the management would relent.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — I feel that the Harbour Plaza is at best a 3 star hotel. The lobby ambiance was ok. The room 806 was adequate in size to what we requested. The major complaint was the bath room. The corner of the glass shower door can cause serious injuries to the feet. Our bath room was also very smelly. We think that the smell came from the drain. Proper dehumidification would also help.

Hotel room is clean and neat.

I would recommend this hotel to others, however, you need to book the room months ahead to enjoy the early bird special. I tried to extend the room for just one more day and the hotel rate was C$280.00. There was a young beautiful lady at the reception who was not friendly at all. She gave me a cold shoulder that disappointed me. Overall, my expectation was met with the facilities and convenience to access MTR right across the hotel.
