Great hotel. It'sbig but somehow feels boutique. The locals are really lovely people who will bend over backwards to help you. It's ultra clean and has a real pride in it. The new gym overlooks the water and it's quite spectacular. This is our second year at Amfora and if we go back to Hvar, I think we'd stay there again.

Hotel Amfora is in a perfect location on the beach and close to town. The views are breathtaking. Rooms are comforable and modern. The breakfast was pretty good too. The best part about the hotel is the amazing pool that was build recently. It has cascading waterfalls, waterslide, and jacuzzi. Service in the hotel is excellent too. They even pick you up and drive you to ferry for transfer to Split and to airport.

We loved this hotel even though we only stayed for 2 nights. It has the best location on the island with beautiful views across the ocean and the an mazing pool and sunbed area to admire the view from. The rooms are beautifully presented. Very modern although not that practical as the water leaked from the shower but not enough to spoil anything else. In comparison to the other hotels this chain offered, even though this is the less expensive one we thought it had the best location and overall appearance was much grander. The onlookers most definitely thought so as they walked pass and couldn't help but stop to look. Made us feet even more smug when you are looking out from inside. Now that I haven't experienced much! The staff were very attentive and helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Fabulous location, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic pool area, awesome breakfast (both variety and quality food). Highly recommend it and value for money.

Amazing pool. This is the biggest hotel (resort) on the island with its own bay one over from the main bay where the old town is and where the ferry comes in. Little weird things only a non-US chain would have (visible wires in ceiling, strange shower) prevent me from giving it full marks. Definitely stay here!
