The accommodations are very good. We stayed in a standard room with a king and it was a good size. It included a work desk and a sitting area and we did not feel cramped. The bath was ample as well, and although the shower stall was on the small side it was sufficient.
The entrance and lobby are what is expected of this level of hotel. The valet/bellboys are attentive and friendly - eager to make a first impression of the hotel. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Some of the housekeeping staff friendly as well when you walked by.
The pool area is nice... BUT the pool deck was not kept clean throughout the day. And in the evenings, there was trash on the ground - napkins, paper cups, etc. It looked kind of trashy for a 4-star AAA property. Also, it looked like the pool equipment was either not working or could not keep up with the number of people using the pool. It was cloudy and there was debris in the pool. I did not want to step into the pool because of the water condition.
My wife used the spa for a few treatments and she said that it was sufficient and very business like. She prefers the Miramonte spa across the street.

Very nice resort; the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We have stayed in the resort in the past and would again in the future. I hope plans for renovation are not too distant (after three attempts and replacement the in room refrigerator was lacking, issues with toilet flushing, leaky faucet, and condition of billiards / table tennis equipment along with the aroma of waste at it's location.
