Chesapeake Resort

We stayed one night at this resort and we have only praises. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well kept. The garden was immaculate

We were traveling with young children and it was nice to see a playground on site as well as hammocks and two pools one of which was only 3 ft deep so perfect for the youngsters. We loved the hot tub - and it was nice to sit in it with the family at night and see the stars and look out into the ocean.

The staff were very friendly. There is no real beach but the made up beach around the resort with its sun beds were good. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning - where we could see anglers bringing in their morning catch. would recommend to friends and family especially if game fishing is on the to do list.

It worked well. Accommodation were reasonable in a beautiful setting. Staff was very nice after you get past the tourist thing. They need attention to their Wi-Fi set-up. Low inconsistent signal. Hammocks are great to catch some zzz's by the breeze. Skoosh follow-up excellent.

We just stayed one night at Chesapeake resort but it would be possible to make more of your stay by enjoying the faclities on offer - pools/spa/beach access/bike hire and much more.

Friendly staff on booking in who willingly accomodated our request for a change of room as we had problems with the door lock - we noticed a handy man repairing this the following morning!

Very good value for money, especially if you stay longer to enjoy the on-site facilities. Also, drive the mile or so towards the main centre and eat at Islamorada Fish Company - lovely setting and great food.

The resort had a beautiful view, was very clean and quiet. It was close to area attratctions and had a variety of activities at the resort itself. My favorite was swinging on tha hammocks overlooking the ocean! I plan on goingback again and would recommend the resort to others. a great value for the money in islamorada.

I would not hesitate to recommend this property. As a matter of fact, I can't wait to go back. The rooms were comfortable, and very clean. The pools were nice and the beach area was absolutely beautiful!
