Ilkay is a 3 star hotel in Istanbul.
The Ilkay Hotel is located in the Sirkeci district of Istanbul, within easy walking distance of some of Istanbul's main sights such as the Grand Bazaar and Blue Mosque. With the Old Town of Sultanahmet only a few minutes' walk away, the Ilkay Hotel is located on a colourful and busy street.
The hotel has rooms equipped with air conditioning, cable/satellite TV, private bath, hair dryer, and telephone. Hotel facilities include bar, restaurant, 24 hour room service, laundry service, safe deposit box at the front desk, currency exchange, and elevator.
The location of the hotel is very fine and close to several of "the things you have to see". The staff at the hotel are very helpfull and the breakfast is fine. The rooms are clean but quite shabby and lacking funiture.

The Ilkay hotel is located in a good location and has many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are very nice in the hotel making sure I was doing well all the time. I didn't know the bar downstairs pertains to the hotel, which is great and the staff were also good. I would recommend to travelers for the price.

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the spice (Egyptian) bazaar and right on the tram line to everything else you could possibly want. There's a million shops and restaurants outside that keep it busy (in other words safe) and skoosh is an incredible website because the prices booking directly with the hotel are SIGNIFICANTLY higher. Its a much nicer hotel then the price here indicates. I lived in Istanbul for 6 months and stayed in many hotels and this was definitely among the best hotels, best values, and impressive locations.

Once you get past the multiple elevators you need to go through to reach your room, the location hits you. You are within a 10 minute walk of the major tourist areas in Sultanahmet.
The rooms were clean, comfortable though the views were nothing much. Fresh towels and sheets every day. The included breakfast had a large spread.
Wi-fi is available only in the lobby, not in the rooms.

The hotel had large comfortable rooms, a decent breakfast, and WiFi in the lobby. It was within easy walking distance of the main train station and a little further from the main tourist sites. It would have been perfect if there hadn't been construction work going on next door that made it quite noisy during the day.
