The location was outstanding. The staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very small, although we heard from other tourists that this is typical in Istanbul. The rooftop terrace offered beautiful views. The included daily breakfast was a real value. |

It's good value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good location and the terrace restaurant has a great view of the Blue Mosque. The restaurant food in evening was the best I ate in Sultanhamet. |

I would recommend the hotel because of the service, the location, and the fabulous outdoor breakfast area with spectacular views. The room we had was about the size of a large cruise cabin, but the linens were luxe! |

Very good location but can be noisy for low floor front rooms. When we asked for quieter room we were moved immediately to a very quiet back room. Rooms are rather small but clean and adequate for a 3* hotel. Very good breakfast buffet for the category served with views of Blue Mosque and Bosporus. Helpful personnel. |

I would highly recommend the Nena Hotel, mainly because of its location in the Sultanahmet area. The room was very adequate by European standards. Both the room and the bath were clean and big enough. Even the hair-dryer was good! It was quiet at night, also. The staff was helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. There was free computer access, albeit very slow. The rooftop restaurant afforded an outstanding view of old Istanbul and breakfast and dinner fare was quite good. If you are expecting a hotel conforming to American standards, then stay at the Hilton. But if you want to experience more of Turkish culture, then check in to the Nena. We are glad that we did. |
