Unlike many behemoth hotels, the [hidden] is as much a part of the aesthetic value of the island as is its natural beauty, and its oceanfront Italian restaurant, Cioppino is excellent if you want something a bit more formal.

What's not to like about the Ritz. The spa is fabulous and the service is top notch. I did get tired of tipping everybody for everything - but I was on vacation so I didn't let it bother me too much.

We had stayed at Ritz Carlton, Key Biscayne for the long Memorial Day Weekend, May 20th through the 25th. Loved the location, a beautiful little island, 3 miles south of Miami. We were close enough to the fast pace of the city, yet, once at the Ritz, felt like we were in the Caribbean. As for the hotel, I was impressed with the attentive service from the moment we pulled up to the valet. Check in was friendly and a breeze. The room was clean and comfortable. Ask for a room on the upper levels to assure yourself a view of either ocean view or not too shabby, the Bay view. The hotel was sold out and was quite pleased with the view of the bay, Coconut Grove and the lights of Miami. For a little extra, I would recommend, is the Hospitality level. Nice extras! Loved the Rum Bar!

The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne was, as it should be, plush, with extremely pleasant and helpful staff, wonderful service, delightful surroundings & amenitites; however, there was an empty picture hook in our room, obviously missing a painting, etc., and we had trouble with the phone service. When we complained, the manager apologized saying construction was the cause of the phone problem, & comped us our parking fee. This seemed fair! We would absolutely recommend the hotel.
