The room was large with nice granite countertops and a mini-fridge, so that was nice, but the whole place smelled like a dirty diaper. We could never find the source of the smell. If you have the choice between the Ramada and paying a little more for a nicer resort, I'd recommend the resort.

Ramada Ltd. more than met expectations. Room was clean; balcony had a nice view. Ther was a choice of 2 dive boats in the marina next door. Maid stayed out the day we put on the "do not disturb" sign, cleaned on the other days. Room A/C was easy to control. Pool is small, but guests can use the larger Holiday Inn pool next door. Although breakfast was not part of the booking agreement, Ramada Ltd. generously threw it in anyway.

I would definitely recommed this hotel to others. It is right in the middle of everything in Key Largo, all popular attractions right next to it, with a plenty of good restaurants around. Hotel isn't new, but it is inviting and clean, with large rooms and nice balconies.It offers good continental breakfast, discount cupons to a lot of local establishments and 2 free tickets to Sun Cruz Casino Ship. Considering the lodging prices on the Keys, it was an excellent value for the money, especially since we stayed on Memorial Day weekend and everything suitable around was either completely booked, or offered at unreasonable prices (in fact Skoosh was the only one having rooms available at this hotel and at a very reasonable price). We would return to this hotel if go back to Key Largo.
