There was some problem at R T Regent so we where moved to another hotel ( RT Monopol). We where happy with that and we have a great time there. Reccommended.

The location was excellent, situated right in the heart of the Jewish quarter and within walking distance of loads of places to eat - we especially loved Pepe Rosso. The room was small but the decor was impressive, lovely and clean and the carpet looked brand new. The shower was spotless and our room was kept very clean, the cleaners even folded our pyjamas! There was no air conditioning, but there was a sweet little fan that we found extremely useful. We did find that it was very noisy outside well into the night, although the hotel itself was quiet. Breakfast was typical Eastern European served in the cellar restaurant, the second morning we couldn't find a seat and had to sit at an uncleared table,there was only one girl on and she was struggling to keep up. We would stay here again for location and value and sweetness

The room we had was very clean but a bit on the small side. We were disappointed with the group of students that were staying the same time as ourselves. We had to call the receiption at midnight to complain about the noise above us, the students who were running up and down the corridor and knocked our door on 3 different occasions. Twice late at night. The third time was at 6am when their doors were being knocked to get them up and for some reason they knocked our door as well.
The breakfast was quite good with cereal, bread, fruit and some meats. The hotel is in a great location but I would not recommend it as they seem to favour groups of students who unfortuately have no regard for other guests.

We stayed for 4 nights at the RT Regent. The staff were very helpful and friendly and arranged trips and taxis for us. The room was very clean and comfortable and for the most part quiet.
It is ideally situated right in the heart of Kazimierz, a few
minutes walk from Plac Nowy and the surrounding bars. If you're aiming at avoiding tourists the majority of the bars here are filled up with locals (though if your Polish isn't up to scratch most of the barmen understand enough English to get by).

On the second night we were there a large group of kids arrived (we never managed to work out their nationality), who proceeded to run about causing mayhem for much of the night (there was a lot of crashing about and things being knocked over) but they were gone after that.

I would recommend staying here!
