the pool hotel

OK but disappointed after the very high standard of chateau jasper (previous 2 nights). Hotel designed around the large swimming pool. Shop did not open till after 7 pm and breakfast did not start till 7am which was later than we wanted as we had a long journey to Kelowna that day Only the basement bar was open for food. Seemed to be not geared for many guests that night ...atmosphere was lacking. Not good value for money....seemed to be a little tired decor.

Lake Louise Hotel

This hotel for the price was really disappointing and we would not recommend it to others. We looked into other hotels for the same night to find the rates cheaper and offering a much higher standard of accommodation. Our room was way less than the described standard and the restaurant was way over priced for the type of food offered. Lake Louise was beautiful....just a disappointing hotel....better luck next time !!!

Views from the hotel were spectular.

I probably would recommend it to others. The location and the views were most excellent. We went for the economy rooms and they were verrrry small. The window was very small and the rooms were not air conditioned. We did get a fan devivered, but there was not much fresh air being circulated. The restaurants were pricy. The laundry facilities were well placed, very clean, and had comfortable seating. I was a little disappointed.
