The hotel is located on The Strip, Las Vegas Blvd. South, and is adjacent to Excalibur Hotel. With 4, 408 rooms and suites, Luxor Resort & Casino is the second largest hotel in the United States. The Egyptian themed resort has been ranked as one of the top 50 resorts in the United States by Gourmet Magazine. Luxor is home to the relaxing Oasis Spa, nine exceptional restaurants and cafes, five sparkling swimming pools, the unique performance ensemble Blue Man Group, the hip nightclub RA, the adventurous Atrium Level and more than 120, 000 square feet of exciting gaming action. The onyx hued pyramid stands 30 stories tall and is topped by one of the worlds brightest beams of light. In addition, there are two 22 story towers to complement the dynamic pyramid. Large sized lobby, with an awe inspiring, life size replica of the Great Temple of Ramses II, which rises 35 feet into the expansive atrium greets visitors. The adjacent registration area features exquisite marble flooring and intricate murals depicting scenes from daily life in ancient Egypt. Pyramid Spa Suites offer views of the worlds most famous boulevard from the private spa tub in the bedroom area. Each Pyramid Spa Suite features separate living and bedroom areas, in addition to oversized bathrooms with premium amenities. Pyramid Spa Suites are approximately 770 square feet and include either one king or two queen sized beds. Rooms Amenities include color TV with remote, pay movies, cable, telephone, computer hook ups, radio alarm, and TDD equipment upon request. All rooms are equipped with an iron and hairdryer. Several restaurants are available. The Luxor Steakhouse, located on the Casino Level, decorated in finely crafted cherry wood and richly upholstered booths and offers an extensive menu. A dining option with a twist on tradition, Fusia, offers cuisine where the main ingredients are familiar but exotic flavors create dishes redolent with spice, color and always reveal a hint of the unexpected. The Pyramid Cafe on the Casino Level offers a wide range of breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. The Pharaohs Pheast Buffet features a selection of all you can eat entrees, appetizers, salads and desserts and made to order cooking stations. The Backstage Deli offers kosher style deli foods in a New York themed setting. The Food Court offers guests a quick snack or a coffee at the Luxor Coffee Company, McDonalds, Quiznos Sub, Nathans Hot Dogs, Little Caesars Pizza and Swensons Ice Cream. 1 kms to the nearest airport (mccarran intl), 4 km to the nearest fair site (las vegas convention centre).

Angled Elevator Hotel

The room was nice with a nice view. The pop machine outside our door was not is service. We were dissappointed the hotel did not have WiFi and we had to request and engineer come to reboot for internet access.

Expectations NOT met! Poor quality steak for $30 roomservice, poor buffet, front desk sent me to a dirty room twice, 15 year old TV, pool closed and more, go somewhere else

We loved the atmosphere of the pyramid

The hotel room was large with two queens size beds and has sitting chair. There was a writing table as well. The Pheast Buffet was excellent with my food items to selection from. The staff was friendly and service was great. As I went to the casino I found the dealer at the Luxor were friendly and would talk to you. My expectation were exceed tremendously. Thanks This property I would recommend to others and will use again

The hotel was ok but we had thought that it would be a higher level of luxury. I guess we were paying for the location on the strip. Our friends stayed 3 minutes off strip at The Orleans with a similar quality room at 1/3rd the price of the Luxor... which is where I would stay next time.
