I don't understand all the people complaining about this hotel. It is a cheap hotel that is close to the strip. You cannot expect the Mandalay Bay. I've stayed at the Riviera and the Flamingo and they are similar. The rooms are large and yes they do need updating, but everything was clean. There were two beds. The first one by the door was by far not as comfortable as the second bed, which was wonderful. The A/C is loud but not any louder than any other hotel at this price range. I loved it because it gave me white noise to sleep to. The shuttle was always timely and we never had a problem with it being too full. It is super convenient. It drops you off right by cesars palace. |

My friend and I thought the hotel would kind of cater to children since it has a kid tyme, bowling alley and movie theater. The restuarants did not have a lot of kid friendly food but my kid is a picky eater so that could be part of it. |

The room was fine -- big and clean. Everything about the hotel was acceptable, but nothing stood out. If you want a decent hotel away from the strip, this is a good value -- usually less than comparable hotels on the strip. The food bars and restaurants were not very good. If you want more excitement or action, stay on the strip. |

We have stayed at the Orleans several times. It's a little out of the way, but the rooms are larger than most, well appointed, and we think it's one of the better values in Vegas. |

They still have the bathrooms with the big heavy doors for wheelchairs to get through, so if my wife wants to put on makeup, etc., there's no door to close if I'm in the bathroom. |
