Affordable Palace Station

There are some good things going for the Palace Station: a. the price is good b. the location is ideal if you have a car. c. the restaurants are pretty good d. you mingle with locals. However, one has to understand that the super cheap courtyard rooms have stained carpeting and a new thing... no bedspreads. The showers are clean and spacious, however. Yes, I would recommend it to others who have a car and who don't expect a Bellagio-type room.

It was okay. Just a standard room, nothing special. We stayed in the courtyard rooms & i'm not sure if all the rooms are the same but ours had a small stand-up shower. It was very cheap, so I can't really complain. Other than the small shower it was a basic room.

Not Bad

I stayed at the Courtyard section of the complex, not in the high rise. It was a nice room, decent t.v. stations, small shower, no coffee maker. High $17 daily resort fee when you show up to register. Smoke in the hall & rooms leached into my room, seemingly only in the morning. I didn't have time to explore the casino & businesses because I had a lot to do at the Strip. Front desk was very helpful. Housekeeping was very nice about providing refills of everything. If one gets a good price to stay here they should be happy. It is very close to the Strip.

The Palace rooms are oaky.

Yes. The way you have to get to some of the rooms in the back. Felt alittle insecure. Couple sections at nite need security.
The room price was great but make sure you read the whole agreement. The price the hotel added on for ammenities was about what the cost of the room was. No. because Icharged for ammmenities and only slept in the room. Did not use internet pool or anything else.

Disliked the Palace Station Hotel

I would not recommend that anyone book a room at this hotel without calling in to confirm that the room booked is indeed in the main hotel. The room that I booked ended up being in a separate building that looked like a low budget motor inn. It was a great disappointment.

Hated the Palace Station

Very tired and expensive hotel. They also tack on a $17 per day charge for use of things you may not even use and it is not known until you check out. Rooms are very small and if you have any type of handicap and need a wheel chair access forget it. The Steak restaurant is extremely expensive for a Vegas getaway. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

They have updated the casino and rooms over the years, and we experienced a very nice trip. Rooms were clean and staff was pleasant.

We have stayed here the last 2 years for the Nascar race. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. For the money it is a great value. The buffet has little to be desired but there is an "In & Out" a block away. We will stay here again.
