Location: The Amazonia Lisboa Hotel is a spacious and comfortable hotel, situated close to Praca Marques de Pombal and just 15 minutes from Lisbon International Airport.Area:The hotel is ideally located within five blocks of Lisbon's central boulevard (Avenida da Liberdade), Amoreiras Shopping Centre, and Edward VII Park.Recreation:A medium-size pool surrounded by a wood deck provides swimming and sunbathing opportunities in warmer months. In addition to guestrooms' dial-up Internet connections, a business center contains one computer that offer high-speed Internet access (surcharge). Rooms:Rooms have a contemporary decor and furnishings include white walls and ceilings, carpets inset into white-tile floors, tropical-wood trim, richly colored drapes and bedspreads.
There were some things we liked about the hotel and others we did not. Here are the positives : -The staff was helpful in giving us directions to a museum we wanted to visit - A hotel shuttle to the airport was provided at a reasonable cost - In general the staff was helpful Here are the negatives : - The rug in our room was in bad need of cleaning - The toilet seat was loose - The grout in the tub area was mouldy (or dirty) and in need of repair - The breakfast was not great

This hotel is very good value for money. It is clean, good rooms, good service, friendly people and for the price they charge you can't fault it.
I recommended this hotel to two groups of friends who would meet me in Lisbon and none of them was disappointed.
The location is excellent as well.

The lobby and some other areas are under renovation, and this might be good news for future guests. People at reception were always nice, services in general somewhat poor - but hey, it's has a good low price. Location is good, about 10€ from the airport by taxi and 10 min walk to next Metro station; within walking distance from Bairro Alto restaurants district.

The facility appearance and staff were great, but the room was very noisy and the internet was only available in the room or lobby by subscribing to an expensive service. Breakfast was very nice...the location is a long walk from downtown but acceptable in nice weather.
