Marques De Pombal is a 4 star hotel in Lisbon. Located in the prestigious Avenida da Liberdade, the hotel is within walking distance of the main shops, restaurants and bars of the city centre. This hotel enjoys a privilege location in the heart of the city. Facilities include a lovely bar overlooking the Avenida, 24-hour room service, banqueting room, two conference rooms, sauna, gymnasium, private car park and a shopping arcade next to the hotel. mp 04/08. This is a recently built hotel and therefore the appearance is superb. The facade combines beige and light brown to give an elegant style to the building. The lower part of the building supports the upper with numerous square columns. All the rooms (including three elegant suites overlooking downtown Lisbon) are equipped with full bathrooms. They include telephone, hair dryer, individual air conditioning, soundproofing, colour satellite television, two direct-dial telephones with voicemail and modem socket, CD player, individual safety deposit box, mini-bar and wireless Internet access. The overall effect is a perfect blend of excellent equipment and exclusively designed furniture. Original Portuguese works of art adorn the walls, and the staff offer the highest standard of hotel service. The restaurant offers a good choice of national and international dishes, as well as a good wine list. 1 km to the nearest station (restauradores), 3 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 6 km to the nearest fair site (centro de congressos de lisboa), 8 kms to the nearest airport (lisbon).
