The hotel was wonderful. I booked a single room and was actually upgraded to a larger room at no extra charge. It has all of the amenities you would expect from a Marriott, plus a very helpful staff that is extremely fluent in English. It is a little removed from the city center, but close to the airport, and near to the main subway lines in the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers looking for an easy stay in Lisbon.

This hotel was excellent. We stayed four nights and had
a really good break.
There is a downside with the location if you are not fit and able as it is a 10minute walk to the metro and uphill most of the way back.
The Lisbon transport system is excellent for getting around and taxis are relatively cheap.
Would recommend visiting the Docos of amara(harbourside
) for evening dinner where plenty of restaurants compete for your attention.
Take the coastal train to Estoril & Cascais fares are inexpensive.

Beautiful hotel, excellant accomadations and service but its location on outskirts of Lisbon make it tough to get around.
Taxi's a must, Metro 15 to 20 minute walk down a hill making a return walk almost impossible. No local stores nearby for snacks and drinks. Good thing taxi fares very reasonable. Breakfast included in rate, excellant value. Concierge service needed and came thru beautifully. English widely spoken, minor communication problems. Excellant value for the money spent.
