The Hotel Miraparque enjoys a location right next to the Parque Eduardo VII. This means that many of the rooms have great views over the park, and also ensures a very quiet stay in what is a very central position. The Avenida de Liberdade is a 2 minute walk, as are many popular restaurants and bars. The Marques de Pombal metro station is also located 100 metres away.

The rooms at the Hotel Miraparque, are traditionally decorated and furnished in a classic style. Because the hotel is situated in a traditional town house the rooms are all different shapes and sizes, though all share a feeling of traditional charm. The high ceilings also create a feeling of light and space with most benefiting from a balcony.

Breakfast, which is included in the price, is an extensive hot buffet and is served in the small but charming restaurant. In the evening the restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes from an a la carte menu.

The Miraparque Hotel is a quiet haven in the centre of a lively city. It is a charming traditional hotel, popular with many visitors to Lisbon.

NB. All rooms have en suite facilities. Please note that this is a NON-SMOKING hotel

Facilities are OK for 3 star but service is excellent, front desk staff particularly helpful. It is well situated close to airport bus stop, 2 minutes from Parque underground station, 20 minutes down hill walk into town. Rooms are clean and quiet, walls not thin and double glazed windows mean no road noise. Only complaint twin beds not double and were a little hard. Breakfast buffet good and served up to 10am. We did not try dinner as a good choice of restaurants locally and in town centre also hotel restaurant closes early in the evening so you may have to go out for food if you arrive on a late flight. Much cheaper than the Lisboa card is the "7 collines" card, buy it from the metro station, valid for any 7 journeys on metro, buses or trams.

Location is OK although not much of a Park view.
A little expensive for what it was. Breakfast is OK. Bed was a little hard. Staff was very welcoming and useful. The overall feel is a little old but it was OK for last minute New Year's Eve plans.

This was a somewhat surreal experience! I had read the other reviews but none of them captured the unique essence of the Miraparque.
The Miraparque is in a good location, a few yards from a Metro station and my strongest recommendation is the purchase of a travel card. The system is good, clean and efficient. Yes the hotel is opposite the park but we were advised that it is unsafe after dark. We had a sixth floor room, spacious with a park view. Well appointed if a bit tired and dated. It was clean with comfy beds and a TV (only 1 English language channel CNN).

At first the room was stuffy and the AC wasn't working but by day two with windows ajar it had freshned. We had 20 to 27 degree days.
There is a small lift taking you down to the small restaurant which is woefully inadequate for the number of guests needing breakfast so there is a queue. Breakfast is quite good but has no variety.
The staff on the reception desk are warm but not very knowledgeable about the city - we were sent off in a taxi to a completely different hotel to the one I had booked.
There's a resonably priced bar but very few places to eat locally. There is a good dept store just around the corner tho.
General pointers = Lisbon is a major construction site at present with nearby Marquis de Pombal being dug up and the river edge also screened off in many areas.
Fado - we enjoyed a good evening out until 1am in the Chiado district. The lift is fun and free if you have a day metro card. Those cards get you everywhere!

A good hotel conveniently located near the metro and the park, if not really in the tourist heart of Lisbon. Neat and clean, very fair service for a 3* hotel, I guess

Their published prices in the room was "50 euro minimum" and "125 Euro maximum" per night, which allows you to judge by yourself on the "value for money" of your reservation.
