Excellently located, the 3-star Hotel Nacional is ideal for exploring the wonderful city of Lisbon. Situated on a quiet street just behind the bustling Avenida Da Liberdade, the hotel is close to the Marques de Pombal square and Parque Eduardo VII. Just a pleasant 15 minute stroll or just two stops on the metro and guests can discover the 'Barrio Alto', a collection of small winding streets packed with cafes, bars and some of Lisbon's best restaurants. All the hotels 61 air-conditioned rooms are comfortably furnished with a simple modern design. The hotel offers a relaxing lounge area and a cafe serving light refreshments. Guest should be advised that Triple rooms are Double/Twin room + extra bed.

IT REALLY IS NOT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY WHEN YOU MUST CALL THE DESK (3 TIMES) AND ASK FOR AIR CONDITIONING. THE THIRD CALL THEY FINALLY STARTED THE SYSTEM. IT TOOK ABOUT 6 HRS TO COOL THE ROOM. BREAKFAST WAS O.K. I EXPECTED MORE FOR THE MONEY. LOCATION WAS GOOD.

A nicely appointed hotel in a pleasant residential neighborhood, convenient to the Metro and bus lines and a pleasant walk to the Rossio. Breakfast was good and served in a cheerful sunny dining room. Staff was helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.
