Yes we would recommed to others. Its location is very convinient and central. walking distance to everything , close to public transportation. Its a walk street. and very charming. Breakfast was good. Yes it was fair value. Though I have no way to compare.

we highly recomend this hotel as it is close to the metro , railway, busses and not too far from the trams. The hotel was also close to bars and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean. The staff were polite and helpful. It was excellent value for money and we have recommended it to our friends.

The room was clean and the staff was really helpful. The location is excellent - right on the "eating lane" and just a couple of minutes walk from major plazas, metro station , bus/trolley stations and even the station to catch the train to Sintra. For 140 euros for 3 nights, it was a steal. The complimentary morning breakfast is pretty decent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a good stay at and would recommend it to others - good value for money and very centrally located. The one drawback was that it is on a pedestrian walkway so cars or taxis cannot pull up to drop you off - a bit of a drag if you have a lot of luggage. Also, the hotel's car park was full when we checked in, so we had to find a pay parking lot nearby. Aside from that, though, it was fine.

We only had one afternoon to spend in Lisbon and found the Hotel Resicencial Florescente to be superbly located to see the sights of the city. Minutes from the Restauradores metro station. Well situated on a walking street with many sidewalk restaurants. Excellent value for a hotel in the city center. Friendly staff. Rooms were much larger than anticipated, nothing fancy but very clean and acceptable.

The Hotel Residencial Florescente is superbly located -- in fact, it's hard to imagine a better location for a tourist in Lisbon. (The main sights are not as accessible, for example, from the bigger hotels in the modern part of the city further north.) The beds in the rooms are firm and comfortable, and the bathrooms modern and convenient. The two rooms we stayed in were very quiet. The breakfast is just what we wanted -- it includes fresh rolls with good ham and cheese, plenty of high-quality yogurt, and good coffee. The hotel offers a use of a recent-vintage computer with internet access for a low fee. The staff was very courteous, and extremely helpful, for instance in helping us find buses and taxis. There are many good restaurants on the same (pedestrian-only) street. Also, the price was very reasonable, especially for an attractive European capital city.

The hotel was really lovely. Very clean and tidy with all facilities you would need. Staff were very helpful too. The hotel is smack bang in the middle of everything and close to many restaurants and bars including the Hard Rock Cafe which is just around the corner. However, because of this it is also very noisy especially early in the mornings when delivery vans are at work. I would suggest bringing ear plugs especially if you have a front room on to the street. Don't let this put you off though, I don't think I would have wanted to stay anywhere else. Breakfast was simple and could possibly have been better but there are many other places to eat if not to your taste. We will definately stay here again as it was very much worth the money. Loved Lisbon too........

We certainly would recommend this hotel as it is very central and good value. staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean. This hotel was quite close to St. George's Castle which is within walking distance, albeit uphill. Many restaurants adjacent, but some can be poor so be careful. really enjoyed Lisbon and would return to this hotel.
