Officially the Alhambra is a Bed and Breakfast but with fifty or so rooms and much better than average facilities it is every bit as good as a two-star hotel. Rooms are spread across two sides of a quiet road in Kings Cross. Near you have the tube station of King Cross st pancreas.
As is usual in London bedrooms are on the small side but they’re adequate and spotlessly clean. All come with colour TV, Wi-Fi (free to guests) and with extras such as fans and tea-coffee making facilities on request. All rooms have a wash-basin and there’s a mixture of en-suite rooms and rooms with shared facilities.
The staff made up for the small hotel room. The shower was the hardest to get over, make sure to bring in your shower shoes! The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was great. I would recommend for the budget traveler.

Yes, so long as you are not expecting the Ritz. The room was very clean, but small. It was very well located for our trip from St. Pancras. We had trouble finding a place to eat, but found an authentic English Pub nearby, and the next morning found that there were several places to eat if we had walked the other direction. Breakfast was traditional, and good. For London, it was a good value for the money.

The owners were very warm people who took time to chat with me and help me make travel arrangements. They clearly cared that their guests were comfortable and they seemed to enjoy their work. The hotel was clean and fresh and very welcoming. I would certainly stay there again.

My 2 friends and I found out the hotel staff to be efficient and polite, our room was small but very clean and tidy, exactly what we needed for a weekend stay in London. There was a sink in our room but the shower and bathroom facilities were shared. Again these were clean and well kept. Breakfast was very good with a choice of English or continental. Excellent location, just 2 min walk from Kings cross tube station. We would come back again and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget who wants clean facilities and easy access to the city centre

The location (by Kings Cross) and customer service is wonderful. A typical small UK hotel room, which was OK becuase that's what I expected. I would stay there again.
