Best Western Phoenix Hotel

The hotel was really good, clean and we got a large twinbedroom. We had to change room as we got a doublerom first, but it was no problems. Good breakfast, but the best thing was the location. Close to buses and underground but also very calm and quiet.

The hotel had a cosy atmosphere and we were really plaesed.

Taken the English standard into consideration, this hotel was everything we expected. Nice staff, good continental breakfast, nice (but small) and clean rooms and good service. Only thing to pick on are the showers, were the pressure was rather low. To be mentioned as well, the location was excellent! Two minutes walk from the shopping street Queensway, and about 5 minutes walk to two subway stations which took us to central parts of the city. Lovely stay!

It is only 500m from the bayswater tube which is great. It is just near a large shopping centre and main street with shops and restaurants. However it is set off the main street making it nice and quiet. Wifi is very patchy and breakfast is basic but fine.

The hotel was fine and conveniently located.
The breakfast was good, although the breakfast seating area was very crowded and several guests did not get served or had long waits get a table.

Reasonable hotel, small rooms, they put me in a smoking room though I had requested a nonsmoking room. The hallway stank of cigarette smoke, but the room was OK. Nice front desk staff.
