Leave my review

A long way from Twickenham Stadium, but fair enough.

My sister and I stayed at this hotel the night we saw Lady Gaga at Twickenham stadium. The hotel was of a good standard. The rooms were clean and comfortable (with the exception of the lamp that shared our pillow space). The dining area was very good, along with the continental breakfast.
Parking at the hotel was not particularly good. First of all we couldn't find the car park as we had received no details as to where it was located. We had to park in a paid car park at the end of the road and then ask once we checked in. Luckily, we managed to obtain one of the limited spaces attached to the hotel but had to pay £15 for the privilege of parking there. Parking at a hotel should be a given; not something that should be paid for. Lady Gaga was fantastic!!!!

was ok for closeness to twickenham stadium. But the toilets didnt flush and staff were not very good at giving out local knowledge for buses or trains.

Missed the Mark

I had high hopes staying at this hotel. Being a good half hour trip on the underground outside central london, it looked like a nice place to stay and a cheap price to do it for.

When we got there we were informed there was some damage due to a leak or a burst pipe in the building so they had to book us in the hotel across the street the first night. Ok, frustrating, but understandable. Things like this happen, and the hotel we were put in was the same star rating and the rooms were nice.

The next day we went back and they had a room for us which was great. But then we found out there isn't any wifi in the hotel rooms (which the hotel they put us in had) but only in the lobby. As people here in holiday wifi is really helpful to look up things to plan where to go. Second, once we got to the room the family member i was with sat on the bed and almost fell in - the bed base was broken under half the mattress. We called the front desk and they did resolve it for us by replacing the base. The beds weren't that great though and you could feel the springs a bit more than you'd like to. The beds in the substitute hotel were more comfortable. Third, the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working so the bathroom ended up like a sauna after a shower, and lastly the a/c unit in the room seemed a bit temperamental. I woke up in the middle of the night to a stuffy and hot room even though i'd left the a/c on when I went to bed.

Having said that, the continental breakfast was decent. Fresh croissants, mini crepes, etc. The gym/pool amenities were a nice include even though we didn't end up using them. And they did do their best to resolve the issues we had that were fixable. I was just left feeling like the hotel they put us in as a substitute was better than the one I actually paid for. And while they did their best to help, and some of it was beyond their control, the accumulation of all the issues made the whole experience a disappointment and I'll not be staying there again.

The continental

The rooms are not bad, it's nice and clean. Unfortunately, you can hear the tv and the radio from the room next to yours. Noise of other rooms door closing is very ennoying. Breakfast and services are good and the gym is great. Good hotel but noisy.
