Built in 1800 and renovated in 2002, this hotel comprises a total of 36 rooms spread over 6 floors of which 19 are double rooms and 7 are single rooms. Great hotel to stay for a few days

We arrived late in the evening and something had gone wrong with our booking for 4 nights. We had to stay for the first night in a sister hotel around the corner. A taxi brought us there. The staff was very helpfull. In Leinster we had a great room with enough space for the three of us. The breakfast was good. We have some experience with the London hotels (small rooms, worn out, litlle space in the shower) but given the price and the location the Duke of Leinster was an excellent choice. Tip: the staff can arrange a good value taxi to bring you to the airport.

Disappointed to say the least

We get there, check in and go to our room. I opened the door and the door literally hit the bed the room was so small. In order to get around the bed you had to go into the bathroom and let my husband pass me. I requested a larger room since I was 34 weeks pregnant at the time and apparently that meant getting the smallest room physically possible. I expected a london hotel room to be small but that was ridiculous. In order to dry off from the shower that did not have a tub I had to put my foot onto the toilet from the shower. I could literally touch one wall in the room with one hand and the same time touch the other. There were marks all over the walls and the breakfast was just carbs... I would not go back.

Very nice hotel!

I would recommend it to others! The room was a little small but nice and clean. The breakfeast was ok! Wery helpful staff.

Eager to please in pleasing locale

Great value for the money, was fun being near Hyde park. Staff were eager to accommodate our needs and met our expectations, room was small and quirky.
