Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel

The hotel was lovely, and the staff were very approachable and helpful. I had asked for a specific room in advance, and was a little worried that I might not get it (having read previous feedback comments from other guests), but the staff were very accomodating.

The rooms are comfortable, and whilst they have air conditioning, i found it to be a little ineffective. Also the rooms are very good at keeping noise out, impressive as its across the road from one of the world's busiest runways!

The breakfast was acceptable, no problems here, though in my view its overpriced if booked through the hotel, so definitely worth shopping around on sites like Skoosh, where its cheaper.

The service was excellent however the room facilities were slightly out of date. The bathroom also need some maintenance as the toilet flush would not work correctly. Overall the hotel was just OK. Has good size rooms.

My father and I each booked rooms at the Renaissance (better to pronounce it Re-nay-sance, with the accent on the second syllable, or they'll correct you!) The rooms were clean and very comfortable, the rates very affordable on the weekend. My heating was fine but I heard a man at the front desk tell the staff that there was no heat in his room, and my father had heat when he went to bed but woke up in the middle of the night to a cold room. I'd still recommend it because the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Frequent 'stayer' at the Renaissance. It met all expectations, as usual. Will continue to use it at the rates offered by Skoosh.

As expected, nothing spectacular, pretty run-down room and slow service, but you get what you pay for.
