I stayed one night at this hotel to save some time trying to get to LHR in the morning for a very early flight. This hotel is a 10min walk from Paddington station, so with Heathrow Express trains departing every 15min and a journey of only 20-25min, this was a great deal. With the money I saved over the oter hotels in the area (from other websites), I was able to get the train ticket, plus afford to buy a pass to watch ESPN online.

The hotel has free WiFi for occupants, but it is VERY slow. You cannot watch any streaming video, and even email or Facebook pages are hit or miss on loading. If you're plannig to need to do anything on the internet at the hotel while you're in London, I would recommend looking for a different place to stay.

Small but clean rooms. Noise from the Tube on the west side of the hotel. Ok breakfast which was included. The standard of the hotel is ok and it has a central location. Would I stay there next time? not in a room on the west side!

When we arrived at the hotel, all of the lower rate rooms had been issued, so they gave us an upgrade free of charge. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. We did not get chance to use the leisure facilities but would be more than happy to revisit this hotel in the future!!

This is the second time we have stayed at Henry VIII in the Notting Hill/Bayswater area. It is very convenient for Paddington Station, Oxford Street, Hyde Park and the West End. It is good value for money and very clean and comfortable. we have found the staff there very fire3ndly and helpful. It is obvious that my ratings are high since I have stayed twice and plan on regualrly as I visit London often.

We arrived earlier and were offered an upgrade room as we were staying for 3 nights, excellent location with good pubs and resturants near by.

Very clean and all our expectations were met.

Don't stay here - the walls and carpet are disgusting, the service from the staff was rubbish and the rooms are tiny. The bathroom was disgusting. We asked for another room and were presented with yet another hole to stay in. Seriously, I read some good and bad review about this hotel, take my word for it, it's not worth the money.
