A really lovely grand hotel stay there every time if we can the rooms are great interior design of the rooms is impressive .the breakfast is very good value for money if you book bed and breakfast together,our stay was great as it always is.also staff very nice and friendly.

Hotel Russell is situated in central London and provides clean, comfortable accomodation at a very affordable cost, We found the staff at all levels to be welcoming, polite and caring .

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped.

We've stayed in many hotels across London over the last 15 or so years and somehow missed The Russell. We will certainly be returning in future.

The only down-side, they charge for Wi-Fi.

We had a lovely time in the Hotel Russell. It was our second time staying with them and we were offered a room upgrade at £30 per night. As we were in London to shop, we decided not to avail of the upgrade.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very professional. Breakfast was a bit expensive but much needed.

The location is perfect as it is a 5 minute walk to the tube line and the service is so reliable.

All in all, we had a fabulous 2 night break.

The room was large and comfortable, staff were friendly. The hotel is very busy but given its great location close to Holburn Street tube station - so just a couple of stops from Oxford Circus- and right beside Russell Square tube station so very convenient for Kings Cross Station and Piccadily Circus- it is in a relatively peaceful spot.

The first room my wife and I were given had a faulty toilet. Once we brought this to the attention of the receptionist we were immediately given a free upgrade to a much larger room (the rooms on the 7th floor are very generous in size). The hotel staff are very polite and helpful and the breakfasts are excellent. On the whole, the Russell Hotel is very clean and well appointed. It is also located in a very nice part of London and there are many nice bars and restaurants (most of them reasonably priced) within easy walking distance.

I would say that the hotel is good value for money (if booked through Skoosh) and I would stay there again.

The Hotel was well presented & clean. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was extremely comfortable, clean & well furnished. Very close to tube links & even close enough to be able to walk into london .(for the more energetic) All together I would highly recommend this Hotel!

The room and bathroom were very nice, comfortable. Great location. Not cheap, even lowest rates. Good breakfast. Charge for internet was outrageous, however, at 15 pounds a day. We stayed in a variety of accommodation along the way, Budapest, Prague, Berlin, Zurich, all with free wifi, so this is unacceptable. Ended up going to nearby Starbucks. Also, we were on the 8th floor, and the lift only goes to the 7th, so we had to carry our luggage to the top, up back stairs. Guests should be warned about this; can't see some people up to that. All in all, 8 out of 10.

the Hotel Russell is in a great location being very near to the tube and bus routes and walking distance of the British Museum. Without exception every member of staff that we met was charming and helpful, our room was very clean and newly refurbished. I paid for the cooked breakfast and it was good , replenished regularly and a reasonable selection. The foyer and dining room are lovely and very grand. The downside was the size of the room which I thought was very small for the price however the furnishings were good and we were on the side of the hotel away from the main road so while there wasn't much of a view it was very quiet and we had a peaceful nights sleep.

The hotell was ok but long lines before breakfast. 20 min waiting for a table.
