Jolly Hotel St Ermin's

This hotel is very old fashioned and was extremely disappointed to be allocated a smoking room. On complaining I was told that these were the only rooms available - I was gobsmacked that hotels are still providing smoking rooms!

It wasn't good value for money and I would certainly not recommend this hotel.

Great wacky victorian hotel right in the heart of Westminster, full of character and good old fashioned service. Short walk from here to the River and all points of the compass.

Yes -- unreservedly-- beautiful surroundings- excellent location good value for money--- good breakfast -- room was spacious with all amenities -- close to tube sand other transport links--will use again

Yes but our room was very small - I have stayed there before and had a better room in the past. However, booked quite late and it was a holiday weekend. However, good value compared with other London hotels I have stayed in.

The room lighting was too low for our liking but otherwise it was OK, bed comfortable and room temp good, and quiet. However main reason for liking this hotel is it's great position in centre of Westminster, its wonderful old world charm and character in the lounge, dining room and bars, and entrance area. Worth staying to enjoy the marble floors, ornate fittings and decorative ceilings and chandeliers, and the old fashioned courtesy from the staff.

I would definitely recommend it to others. I was a very good value for the money.
The St Ermin's was conveniently located a block from the St. James Park underground station, two blocks from the park and within a very easy walk of many attractions. I also enjoyed the English Breakfast. For me, thee was no downside.
All my expectations were met. The staff was friendly and helpful.
