Our weekend trip to London could not have been better without a stay at the KGH. The room was nice and the location of the hotel made it so simple for seeing the sights. We found the staff most helpful with any inquiry.

No. The room was in the attic, old fashioned, not well decorated, the description said full breakfast , but it was basic continental, served to the room, but orange juice etc would have been charged extra if I had ordered it. At £ 163 a night it was not worth it. I get better rooms and food at Travelodge, a short tube ride away, which is what I will do next time I wish to go to Royal albert Hall.

Was surprised how unfriendly the staff were when we arrived, they booked us in to a single room even though, the girl on the front desk saw we had booked a double and there were two of us. I went down and informed her she gave us a single, she seemed aggrovated by this and have me a key to try another room, this was much better, ok room but in need of a refurb. I asked about breakfast, was only continental in room, so ordered for 9 am. I called up at 9:10 to ask where our breakfast was, took another 30 mins for cooling toast and jam, not what we asked for, would definitly be staying elsewhere next time I'm. In London!

The receptionists are rude, unhelpful and should quite frankly not be working in a customer facing reception area. If you don't want to help and work with the public, get another job. The manager of this hotel should take a long hard look at his hotel on the whole, his staff and the way he runs his business - or he will not have a business for long. Although with that said, as long as London is standing there will always be cheap, bog standard, low sub-standard hotels giving themselves the title of "luxury hotel" - which is exactly what the Knightsbridge Hotel is doing. Luxury, it is not !!!

About the hotel I can say only the positives.
Convenient location - close to metro and bus stop, next to Harods and hyde park.
Very friendly and professional service.
Rooms spacious and comfortable.
Definitely worthy to recommend this hotel.
