Located in the most elegant area in London Mayfair, in quiet street off Park Lane and a few minutes walk from Hyde Park. The nearest underground stations are Green Park (Victoria, Piccadilly and Jubilee) or Hyde Park Corner on the Piccadilly Line. A Boutique type hotel very traditional style and a great location just off Park Lane, London Mayfair. An intimate traditional Georgian style building with a red brick facade. A small yet elegant marble lobby, conveying the image of an old townhouse, with rich red sofas in the small seating area. The restaurant on the ground floor is decorated in a traditional style, with warm yellows, contrasting beautifully with the dark wooden furniture. The rooms are small, decorated in pastel colours with dark wooden furniture. Both the bedrooms and the marble bathrooms are in very good condition. 25 kms to the airport (heathrow), 4 km to the nearest station (euston), 5 kms to city centre, 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station (finchley road), 60 kms to the airport (gatwick), 7 km to the nearest fair site (earls court).

Great value, comfortable hotel

This hotel is excellent value for money. Staff are friendly and particularly helpful. Breakfast (included in the price) is very good.

Perfect for our needs.

This hotel was in a good location for us, a few minute walk from the tube station and in a nice quiet street. The hotel was clean and tidy - a bit pink and decor dated, but this did not affect our stay at all. Nice size room and bathroom which is hard to find in a budget London hotel. Hotel staff were very helpful - they had been told we wanted a twin room when we in fact wanted a double but they managed to sort this out for us quite happily. Breakfast was also good. I would stay there again.

Excellent location

Excellent location, in a nice quit area, short walking distance from the tube. Nice room (could be cleaner), decent size, a bit aged furniture. Friendly and helpful staff. No free internet. Average breakfast, served in a very crowded room. Good value for the money (for London). I would recommend it.

English tourist class hotel

We've stayed three times in this hotel. Main reason being the location in recidental area in a not touristy district. Adequate tourist class hotel but the interior decoration is shabby and out-dated. Compared to other London tourist class hotels the rooms are bigger. The cleaniness is ok but not excellent. They seem not have any customer registry as each time the room we have recieved has been worse. This time got room 408 which was smallest and next to the elevator. The insulation is poor. We could in the first night hear the love noise from room next door luckily they left and a couple with child stayed there instead. Recommend to walk uphill to Hampstead for village athmosphere: nice walks, shopping (little stores) and eating in restaurants. We've twice eated in Silva's portugese restaurant on Heath Street. Tasty food from fresh ingredients with excellent portugese wine and superb
