"Where history meets hospitality" is more than the motto of this truly remarkable centrally located hotel, it is a statement of intent. The hotel stands on a site that has a heritage dating back to Roman Britain, and many unearthed artefacts are proudly displayed in the Museum of London. There are a multitude of attractions and experiences to be enjoyed nearby; take a trip back in time with a visit to Shakespeare's Globe or join the ultra hip with a visit to the Tate Modern art gallery. The Thames Path is near to the hotel and a relaxing walk along the River Thames is particularly recommended in the summer months, whilst a spin on the London Eye will provide spectacular views of a truly great city at any time of year. The hotel prides itself on high quality service and all rooms have private bathroom, satellite TV, radio, high speed internet access, mini-bar, hairdryer, trouser press, iron and board, safe and tea/coffee making facilities.

Efficient and friendly staff, small but clean room with nice touches such as lots of lights, up to date magazines and newpapers, fluffy towels and good toiletries. Comprehensive breakfast included was available until 11 a.m. and check out at 12 - both very welcome. Trendy and buzzy area with Borough Market on your doorstep and great transport links by bus, tube and mainline. Not the cheapest hotel in London, but good value for what you get.

Breakfast City

Good location - on top of all transportation. Concierge was very helpful. Best of all it had a fab buffet breakfast that had, scrambled and poached eggs, bacon and sausages, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, cold meats and cheeses, 10 kinds of cereal, breakfast pastries, coffee or tea, jam, marmalade and toast, fruit, 2 kinds of yogurt. The best. Supplied more than half the food one would need all day. Plus several free newspapers. Not cheap, but if you want to spend this much it is worth it.

A pleasant London Bridge Hotel.

Overall we would recommend this hotel if you arrange an acceptable price deal. All staff exceptionally polite. There is building work going on next to the hotel and the railway station, so you MUST request an inner room. These are totally noise free. We were full breakfast included and this was again excellent, so for us our deal was good value for money. To pay for beakfast would be Â£16.95 per person.

good spot in london

London bridge station perfect spot in the city to visit london, really good value for money considering the hotels prices in the capital, very good hot breakfast included. Safe area a 2mn from Borough market and the thames. Only negative point in the area very noisy with the train station and the building site right there, but with the air co on , we could sleep like babies , the waling all day helps as well ! A good address to stay if you don't have very light sleep or are not use to very busy city as London is, surely ! Will keep the adress if weare planning an other trip.
