The hotel room was very clean, the beds particularly clean, The decor however is very poor and in need of some TLC, but we were expecting this. Staff friendly. I would only recommend if all that was needed was a clean place to sleep.

My wife and I looked and looked for a decent hotel at a decent price in London (coming from the States). We settled on this place due to the price (London hotel prices can give you sticker shock) and recommendations found online. The accomodations are simple and a bit well-worn. BUT, our room was clean, with new towels everyday and plenty of hot water for showering. The location to Earls Court Tube Station is hard to beat; a 2 minute walk. There's a pub at the end of the steet and plenty of restaurants and banks just around the corner. The hotel is family owned and they all work there and very helpful. Peter booked our flight to Paris for us and one of his daughters let us use one of their umbrellas on a rainy day.....just to point a couple of little things to help out. To sum it up, we would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an "affordable" place to crash out at with easy access to London's sights with little care about aesthetics. Too add one thing, we read some complaints about hearing the trains at night from the Tube. For us, it was not an issue...just muffled noise in the background. (Our stay was September 10-18, 2005.)
