The hotel is spread over 7 floors comprises a total of 523 rooms. The hotel includes a 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange counter, cloakroom and lifts. The attractive atrium lounge, the pub (open until 2 am), the lively Sportsman's bar and the restaurant invite guests to stop off for a bite and a drink. The shopping centre on the neighbouring hotel, Imperial Hotel, awaits guests with a bank, hairdressing salon, newspaper kiosk and a Chinese herbalist. Business guests may make use of the conference room and the public Internet terminal. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car parking (additional fee applies) or garage facilities. Room and laundry services complete the offer. This hotel is located in the heart of Bloomsbury, only a short walk from the theatres, Convent Garden and the British Museum. Russell Square underground (Piccadilly Line) is located close to the hotel. Euston, St Pancreas and King's Cross stations are also nearby. Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet. Lunch and dinner may be chosen from a menu.

Pleasant Hotel

The President is very well situated to travel around London. It is only a few minutes walk from Russell Square tube staion and within walking distance to all the main tourist areas. The hotel itself is dated although a refurbishment has taken place - new carpets, furniture, tiles in bathroom - it could have done with new bath, shower etc. Although saying that the pressure on the shower was fabulous and there was constant hot water when needed. The all you can eat English breakfast was brilliant - saved buying lunch!!! We would use this hotel again - in fact we have booked to go back later in the year. The good points far outway any negativity. You can leave luggage in the hotel for a nominal fee (50p per case) after checking out. We had no trouble booking in early. Polite staff, nothing was any trouble.

Great location next to tube the President

Yes. The breakfast was very nice Was clean and comfortable. It was good money for its location next to the uderground. Yes.Staff were very friendly .

Our stay at Hotel President Russell Square

For a London hotel in a good location near a tube station the President offfers reasonable value for money.The room was clean and recently recarpetted and the bed was comfortable.The decor is pretty oldfashioned but the hotel is wellkept and tidy. Breakfast is selfservice , wholesome rather than imaginative but a bit of a scrummage.We'd stay there again- advantages cutweigh the negative points. .

I like it , acceptable price ! Good room service , nice breakfast , clean room ! Flexible if you want to change the room to any view !!

Disspointing

Although the hotel was very nice we found the level of street noise so high that it was difficult to sleep. Consequently, we were both very tired the next morning after our stay. For this reason and this alone I would not recoomend the hotel.
