Myself and 2 mates stayed at Fairways for 5 nights during our visit to Londonl. As we where visiting on a tight budget we decided to go with Fairways cos it seemed to be quite cheaper in comparison to other central London hotels. some of the reviews we read on tripadvisor described it as 'the worst hotel in the world' but that did not affect our decision as we where looking for something cheap with a bed/shower/toilet and good location. upon our arrival we where given a key to room 12A which to our pleasant surprise had its own toilet&bath. the facilities where pretty much basic but that wasnt a problem because luxury was not our priority. room was cleaned daily and towels where also changed. fantastic location, less than 5 minute walk from lancaster gate and also very close to paddington station. for us good value for money!!!!

Yes, highly recommend this great budget hotel near Southwark underground. Good food at reasonable cost and very friendly staff. Just remember to bring shower gel, not supplied.

Perfect location and friendly and accomodating staff, a well equipped room (and nicely furnished bathroom). Quality breakfast with good additional menu (one waiter a littlebit pushy on selling the offer of the day-milkshake, but otherwise discreetly present and mostly friendly-efficient). Bonus; a private garden accros the street to which I got the key to inspect the flowering trees up front! Great stay :D

very impressed with overall service and staff attention, we were disappointed with the room we were allocated, our friends had a lovely spacious room with a view and bench at the end of the bed. on entering our room the door opened very close to the desk and chair, our room was squeezed into a corner plot which overlooked another building top so the blinds were down which made the room even smaller. only stayed one night but would have asked to be moved if it had been longer.

these rooms should be discounted as they are not portrayed on any web site

Good value for money hotel, comfortable super king bed and room facilities good, with aircon. Furniture better than the standard hotel. Secure place to leave your luggage if required.
Bar prices good for London & breakfast excellent.
Would book again.

yes.
good venue for conference at Excel, but out of the way for central london.
easy to get to on tube and DLR
BUt difficult for taxi driver to find as postcode not recognised by satnav.

liked the style of the rooms
Breakfast was unusual but the 'grab and go' system worked well. However on busy days, the lounge area at breakfast time was very messy with trays and breakfast debris everywher.

disappointed no room service.

I would certainly recommend it to others, however, I was disappointed by the attitude of one of the staff members (I think he was from the receptionists -- a tall guy with black hair). There was a false fire alarm and he tried to blame me, saying that I started it. In reality I used the fire escape after the fire alarm started, which, according to him started the alarm in the first place. Anyway, I was particularly impressed with the kitchen, the lounge, the bar and the TV room. I find the place a great value for the money it costs. To be honest with you, my expectations of the hostel itself were not only met, but even exceeded. I was pleasantly surprised and I find the hostel rather cosy. I would only recommend watching for impolite staff members and also, there were no toilet paper on some occasion.

Had a great stay, everything clean and fresh. Very close to station, the theatre, great location for everything we planned to do. Taxi fees reasonable to all locations during our stay. Top notch hospitality, breakfast. Will definitely stay again!

Great breakfast, lovely bar with a good atmosphere especially with the piano player in action. The area is one we love and very convenient. The only negative was the size of the room which we found very small even for London. All the staff were very helpful.

Great location! Within walking distance of several theaters, the London Eye and most attractions. Less than two blocks away from two subway stations (Embankment and Charing Cross).
The room was modern, well-ventilated and spotless.
Both the front desk and the cleaning service were excellent.
Every morning before leaving the hotel, we grabbed a cup of their delicious complimentary espresso to prime ourselves for the day ahead.
The Citadines Trafalgar Square really surpassed our expectations. Great value for money!

Very good location in Bayswater with excellent public transportations - short walk to Bayswater & Queensway Underground stations.
Nice old building overlooking the beautiful (private) park at Prince's square.
Room was OK for 7 nights. Bathroom a bit worn down.
Lobby and breakfast rooms are beautiful, although somewhat worn down.
Nice & helpful staff at the re.

The hotel was clean, no frills and no extra comfort. The staff was helpful, room clean and the breakfast decent. As a place to crash during the night I found it fine.
