Please note that the Strand Carvery Restaurant will be closed for refurbishment from 16 August 2013 to 2 September 2013. During this time breakfast will be served in the two meeting rooms, Exeter 1 & 2.

The exterior of the building will undergo minor restoration work from 15/11/2011 until approximately 30/09/2013. The work will take place during the day and scaffolding will be erected outside the property, which will affect views from some rooms. Guests can still open windows and overall disruption is expected to be minimal.

Couldn't fault the Strand Palace Hotel

Have already recommended to several friends. The room we were given was a good size, extremely clean and had everything we needed and the location was ideal for the theatre we'd booked. We only stayed the one night and ate in the carvery rather than going out because the weather was bad. Although the meal was good, it would have been nice to have more of a choice of menu. All the staff were pleasant and friendly, couldn't do enough for us and were very helpful when I was taken ill during the night. Good value for money and will definitely use again.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Hotel

I would recommend it to others The pluses were: nearness to Temple Tube;cleanliness;a staff that were welcoming;it was adjacent to Covent Garden and the West End. It was perhaps a bit expensive. My expectations were realised and I would be happy to return.
