The hotel is situated close to Russell Square in Bloomsbury, just a short walk from Euston and King’s Cross mainline and underground stations. Also within walking distance are London's Theatreland and the British Museum. The exterior is typical of other 1950s town buildings in predominantly red brick with a few subtle Art Deco touches. The lobby is medium-sized and attractive, there are more Art Deco touches here and the colour scheme is typical of a building a couple of decades older than this, with a predominance of browns, creams, and gold. The rooms are small on average and simply decorated using light colours and simple furniture. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in fair condition. |
