Cumberland Hotel

The hotel is centrally located on the corner of Oxford Street and Park Lane, overlooking Marble Arch and Hyde Park. The nearest underground station is Marble Arch almost next door to the hotel.

It is a large modern hotel with an art deco exterior. The main entrance is just off Oxford Street.
A very large lobby has the air of a contempary art gallery with wide open spaces and life size scupltures. Behind the reception a constantly changing image is projected onto a bank of screens, whilst a floor to ceiling 'waterfall' in the centre of the lobby completes the spectacular 'wow' factor on entering the hotel.
Executive rooms are larger than the Cumberland Guest Rooms, with the majority offering a City view and the remaining with a Hyde Park view and are decorated with clean lines, colourful pastel tones in either reds, blues or light greens, is carpeted and features light coloured wooden panelling on part of the walls. The bedroom area has a large window offering natural light and feeling of spaciousness and airiness. Bedding is in Egyptian white cotton and each bed features a unique glass headboard which can be lit. Tea and coffee making facilities are found in a section of the wardrobe which has a glass sliding door. All the rooms have a desk and chair, Plasma TV and a leather comfortable chair. Some of the bathrooms have a walk-in shower and some have a bath with a shower over.
