Very small room. Even smaller bathrooms. Hard beds and lumpy pillows. Very expensive copared to standard. But we were there during the Olympics so maybe the price was set up. The staff was frindly and helpful. All in all, our expectations were not met.

Will recommend it.

Nice, clean rooms and bathrooms. Great standard and good value for money. Only 5 minute walking from the underground.

Only a little minus that they don't have elevator, but that was never a problem really.

Kan anbefale dette hotellet som ligger i en hyggelig gate i Bayswater, drøye 5 min. gang fra undergrunnen. Hotellet holder god standard og gir god valuta for pengene. Virker velholdt og oppdatert. Hadde kjøleskap og kokeplate på rommet. Ikke stort, men det er få hotellrom i London.

Eneste minus, og det er et ikke uvesentlig minus; Veggene(i hvert fall på mitt rom) er dårlig isolert, det er med andre ord VELDIG lytt! Hører godt stemmer fra naborommene, skritt i etasjen over osv. Dette trekker ned, og jeg ble nødt til å kjøpe ørepropper, da det italienske naboparet på brylupsreise var i det høylytte hjørnet..
Ellers bra.

The location is nice - The Hyde Park Hotel is located between Bayswater and Notting Hill in a quiet and calm neighborhood. We got a room in the basement, all rooms with twin beds are there. The room was long and narrow, with a second bed in an alcove one step down. The furniture is modern and minimalistic and must be relatively new. What was the biggest disappointment and the reason I will not stay there again, is that the bathroom was really dirty. The shower cabinet was dirty and unappealing, and there was brown coloured water running down from a hatch in the ceiling... There was also a faint smell of sewage in the basement from time to time. We said to the receptionist that we wanted our bathroom cleaned better, and though the staff seemed nice and helpful, we could see no improvement.

The hotel itself was reasonable priced and had a OK standard. 7-8 minutes walk to the tube for Central line made this hotels' location good. I would return, but for sightseeing and shopping in London as the only purpose. For romantic gettaway i would reccommend to spend more money for better standard.

Jeg og min kjæreste bestemte oss for en 5dagers tur til London og etter å ha søkt rundt på alle mulige hoteller endte vi på HydeParkHotel. Hyde Park Hotel befinner seg rundt mange hoteller, som gjør at du ikke er den eneste turisten i området. Og dette ser jeg positivt på. Rommet vi ble vist til var øverst og var et soverom med tilstrekkelig plass og et bad. Og holder fint for 2 stk. som farter rundt i London. Eneste negative er at det ikke var heis, men om en ikke har problemer med litt trapper så er dette noe problem. Undergrunnen Bayswater ligger noen minutter unna hotellet så er ikke problematisk å komme seg til midt i smørøyet. Dessuten er det en del fastfood sjapper i området. Et godt hotell for en fin pris!
PS! Frokost på hotell=tørr croissant + litt juice&melk. Så dropp den tanken.
