The place was bad. It was dirty and lack many ammenities. Would not recommend it to anyone.

The room we had at the the Royal Cambridge was rather small and the bathroom really small. But it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are not air conditioned so we had the window open and were OK. However, we had to listen to the airconditioning units just outside the window that roared constantly. The lighting in the room was strictly overhead--no lights to read by in the evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a nice area and is convenient to Paddington station and to some places to eat. Breakfast was pretty basic--toast and coffee for the most part. I would probably try another place before staying there again.
