The hotel is newly remodeled with bar and restaurant, The place is clean, staff are courteous and helpful.
The hotel is located in an industrial area. I will not advise to stroll at night. You need to have a car if you plan to stay in this hotel. Parking is ample and free. Interstate 5 freeway entrance is two blocks from the hotel.
This is a reasonable hotel for its price.

Poor location. Nothing at all within walking distance of hotel. Rubbish public transport in LA, and taxis cost a fortune because everything is miles away, hence a car is essential. Acceptable standard of decor and furnishing for money. Disappointed that plastic cutlery were issued for breakfast, and that bar man chose to play completely inappropriate dance music at high volumes over breakfast. Disappointed that hotel did not offer a laundry service, except self-service - surely no-one wants to spend their holiday doing laundry? Poor front desk service. Overall, this is a cheap hotel which may be acceptable for those on a tight budget, but if you can afford to spend a bit more, then there are probably better options in LA.
