The Barefoot Beach Resort was great. Aaron at the front desk was super nice and we were actually upgraded to an Ocean View room which was beautiful. We could walk to John's Pass from the hotel. We would definately go back.

Front desk lady was very friendly at check-in. We stayed in room 311, very clean gulf-front studio with granite countertops, wet bar, microwave, and small refrigerator. Had basic utensils and dinnerware. Living room and bedroom area separated by a half wall, flat screen TV on wall above small table with two chairs. Perfect for two people. The view was amazing from the patio! Close enough to the gulf to hear the waves. Condo has four floors with some rooms facing gulf, others overlooking pool. Pool looked nice, but we never got it in. Short walk to John's Pass, which was nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who'll be travelling to this area!

The Barefoot Beach Resort in Madeira Beach, FL is an older resort (nothing fancy) but it has nice cozy clean rooms with a cute tropical decor. The studios are perfect for two people. The check-in/front desk staff (Lisa, Sherry, and Alex) were the best we have ever encountered during any of our many vacations. They were friendly, accommodating, and made sure our vacation was absolutely wonderful. They upgraded our room after finding out we were celebrating a birthday during our stay, recommended great restaurants in the area, and provided a late check out because we could not check into our next hotel until 4:00 p.m. Resort is right on a beautiful stretch of white sand beach. Wish we had been able to spend our entire vacation at this resort. Will definitely stay here again.
