I and 3 other friends stayed here for a UW football Saturday in November. Got there early evening after the game. Staff was helpful and friendly ... helped us out with cab needs, etc. The suite was moderately-sized and adequate, though the TV sets are a little outdated. Not the typical flat-screen fare you're starting to see in a lot of places. But, that's really not an issue as we weren't sitting around the room for long.

They also had a 5:30-7:00 free Happy Hour for guests that offered wine, soda, beer. So that was a nice thing to do before heading out for the evening.

It's a couple miles south of campus and away from that hub-bub, but still easy enough to get to and from the stadium. I'll stay here again for future games.

Spent Halloween night at the Clarion in Madison. Room was very nice and clean. Front desk was very professional and helpful. Excellent breakfest in the morning that was complimentary. I would stay here again.

Excellent value and convenience to the UW Madison football stadium. Our room suite was large and comfortable with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa/living area adjacent to a nice sized kitchenette. We appreciated warm cookies upon arrival and a very fast check-in. Efficient friendly staff. A Happy Hour was offered from 5:30-7:00. Chips and pretzels plus beer and wine were complimentary. We relaxed in our room and watched a DVD that we had brought along. Morning breakfast buffet in the same large lobby Great Room where the HH was served. Make your own Belgian waffles, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, biscuits with gravy, toast with assorted spreads, juice, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, milk. We swam in the large indoor pool and enjoyed a soak in the hot tub on Sunday morning...all to ourselves. Lots of free parking. I would return and recommend Clarion Suites to friends.

A good place to stay. It is close to campus, rooms are nice, price was OK, beer and breakfast was included. Would stay again.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, the pool was nice and the breakfast was great. We had an event at the Alliant Energy Center (which is attached to the hotel) and it couldn't have worked out better. I would recommend this hotel to friends and I plan on staying here again next year!
