This hotel is ideally located in the main business and financial district of modern Madrid, near to the cultural heart of the city. The famous department store El Cortes Ingles is close by as well as the Picasso Museum and Castellana Avenue. The nearest underground station is Alvarado, however Nuevos Ministerios and Santiago Bernabeu stations are within walking distance. The main avenue in Madrid Gran Via is only 10 minutes away by tube. The hotel offers the following facilities and services: garage, Internet and e-mail access, conference and meeting rooms. The hotel has a modern marble facade. The lobby is large in size, with traditional Spanish decoration. You can find comfortable seating. Most of the paintings, tapestries, and antiques in the lobby are originals. The restaurant is only open for larger groups. However, you can find a bar serving everything from soft drinks to cocktails next to the reception area. The choice of restaurants, bars, cafes in the vicinity to the hotel is immense. The rooms are generally comfortable, unpretentiously decorated with light-toned bedspreads and curtains. 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (nuevos ministerios), 12 kms to the nearest airport (barajas), 2 km to the nearest station (chamartin), 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 3 kms to city centre, 9 km to the nearest fair site (ifema).

good price good food a wonderful staff and amazing place to spend time with family or business if you like real madrid it only take you 5minutes walk to santiago bernabeu stadium im sure i will be back before the year end thank you for a great deal you gave me.

great location for a real madrid game

2nd time we (6 guests) stayed here because of thelocation to the santiago bernabeau stadium to see rail madrid. quick ride to downtown from alvarado on the metro hotel is clean safe and has a decent buffet breakfast great pricing means we would use it again when we go

I wouldn't recommend it to others unless you just need a place to sleep that is relatively cheap. I didn't expect anything fancy but it was the equivalent of a 1 star hostal under teh guise of a 4 star hotel. My air conditioning was broken, the toilet broke, it was stuffy and dirty and the bed was like sleeping on a concrete floor. The breakfast wasn't too horrible and the location was great. I've stayed at many hotels in Madrid and I personally wouldn't stay there again.

Gran Atlanta

Hi. Its my first stay in this hotel and although most of the reports are low I found it clean, tidy and functional. Mine was a short stay in a single room which I found acceptable for the price and location. I have stayed on the Gran Via before and paid twice as much for a very similar experience so the place is fine for a short stay.

Great service at Hotel Gran Atlanta

The hotel Gran Atlanta is well-situated. Easy to get to from the airport (on the same line ) and a short walk from the local metro station, Nuevos Ministerios. It´s not the best hotel for the historic centre but would suit business people or those wanting to be in the north of the city. All the staff spoke good English. The breakfast, buffet style, had all the basic healthy and unhealthy items people would expect. I had a pleasant stay.
