Senator Gran Via 70 Spa Hotel

We 1st booked that Hotel By Mistake we thought its the Senator Gran Via, but then when we entered the room .. it was absolutely amazing and cosy, the double glazed window are working like magic, the Bathroom is so Clean and elegant. and the hospitality is amazing.
For the money we paid this is a Perfect Value and experience in Madrid. and we still in the city centre with a lovely main street view.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOEL BECAUSE THE STAFF WAS NOT FRIENDLY AND THE ROOM WAS DIRTY SHEET WITH BLOOD STAIN AND WHEN YOU LEAVE THE ROOM THE KEY WOULD NOT WORK WHEN YOU RETURN, I WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE PRICE I PAID AT THIS HOTEL I TRAVEL ALOT , LAST YEAR I WAS IN MOROCCO THREE TIME ANDTHE HOTEL THERE ARE MUCH BETTER THAN IN MADRID. I WAS VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE LOCATION IS GREAT BUT THE HOTEL NEEDS SOME WORK ON HOUSEKEEPING AND FRONT DESK STAFF.

Breakfast free but average.
No free wifi because connections failed all the time and at the end you have to pay for an ethernert option in your room or use coin operated computers in the lobby.

When we arrived we were told there was a problem with a smell in the rooms and we would have to go to their sister hotel, Senator Gran Via. We were disappointed and suspicious but the staff were very helpful and paid for a taxi to take us up the road to the Hotel Gran Via. The set up seemed the same as Espana with all the extras mentioned by other reviewers. We were given a room upgrade and a free bottle of cava and fruit basket were brought to the room, so no complaints at all!

The room and hotel were lovely and breakfast ( included in Skoosh rate) was excellent.
