This hotel was completely renovated in 2000 and comprises a total of 4 floors with 166 rooms. As well as a lobby area, the hotel also offers its guests a bar and an à la carte restaurant. Guests may take advantage of the medical assistance as well as room and laundry services. This hotel is located in quiet surroundings, directly on Clippers Quay, just 2. 5 km from the centre of Manchester. The city's airport is some 15 km from the hotel. Guests may enjoy use of an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a gym as well as a sauna area with a steam room. Breakfast is on offer each morning. Lunch and dinner may be taken à la carte. If coming by car from the city centre, follow signs for A56 Chester. This will lead onto Deansgate and then onto Chester Road. Signs will say Old Trafford Cricket Ground/Trafford Park/Salford A5063. Nice Copthorne hotel

We recommend this hotel. Two minutes to tram station and city centre, ten minutes walk to Old Trafford and short walk to Lowry. Nice area in Salford Quay. The old Manchester docks turned into a lovely area. Hotel nice and clean. Exellent breakfast. Shower in bathtub is not our favourit . Old fashion tv. Good value for money.

Would recommend, we had a good stay, the only negative, is that I think thre decor could do with refreshing. No nhesitation in booking accommodation again.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — Rooms clean and tidy. Bathroom abit dated with shower curtain that sticks to you. Breakfast was very good full breakfast hot and fresh, although the pastries were left overs from the day before (hard and crusty) and not enough staff to clear tables and serve tea and coffee. The bar and bar area is too small, poor selection of beers and staff not up to speed. Rating probably between somewhat lacking and acceptable standard.
