Located next to Calatrava's landmark Trinity Bridge and the first five-star hotel in Greater Manchester, this property makes a bold contemporary architectural statement with its dramatic, curved, glass-fronted façade that creates a light and airy feel within the hotel interior. In addition to the total of 165 guests rooms, this air-conditioned city hotel features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access. Guests can relax and unwind in the games room and the bar, or they can dine at the hotel restaurant. Those staying on business may wish to take advantage of the conference facilities and the WLAN Internet access (fees apply). Room service and a laundry service are also available at the hotel, as is a car park for those arriving by car. Perfectly located for easy access to central Manchester and the main shopping and commercial districts, the hotel is also close to the railway station and within 10 miles of Manchester Airport, while Liverpool John Lennon Airport is located roughly 32 km away. For an extra fee guests can enjoy a work-out at the hotel gym or treat themselves with a massage or spa treatment. A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning, while lunch and dinner are available from a set menu or à la carte. From the North: Follow route for Carlise to join M6, turn at junction 30 signposted the M61. Continue on the M61 following signs for M60 and Liverpool M62, for approx 3 miles and follow signs for M602 Manchester, towards the end of the M602 stay in the left hand lane. At the end of M602 take the first exit on the left following signs for Salford and Pendleton. The second set of lights is on a T Junction, turn right at these lights onto the crescent. Continue along this road for approx 2 miles and pass under a railway bridge. The entrance for the hotel is on the right after approximately 50 yards.

The Lowry really was a fantastic hotel!!

I would fully recommend the Lowry to others and for the price we got it for, it was very good value for money! All of our expectations were met and with a superb breakfast the next day we was set up perfectly for the next leg of our journey!

Lovely clean hotel. Staff very friendly,courteous,and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Food is overpriced there,we had lunch and it was very expensive,which put us off having an evening meal there. The only problem we had was when we checked in the confirmation had not come across from the original booking from Skoosh which they sorted for us saying the fax was not working when confirmation was sent on. Recommend: yes,stay there again: yes.

Would recommend to others - service was the best part - not OTT nto too aloof - just very helpful! Room was ok - plebty big enough just very minimalist but perfectly nice - value for money was ok - it is a 5* hotel so not cheap but worth the money

A good central location. Very high standard of room, and we were impressed with how quiet it was. The service was good and breakfast was excellent. We thought we might get a sub standard room as we paid so much less through Skoosh than we had been quoted elsewhere ( we saved £155 for the one night!) but this was not the case. Would not want to pay £350 for a room, but at £195 was good value.

Yes i would recommend The Lowry it,s the only place to stay in Manchester . The service and quality is second to none , we won,t stay any where else .
