Great value at Macdonalds Manchester

Would definately recommend this hotel, it was in an ideal location for getting into Manchester city centre - within walking distance from the train station. Lovely large room and very clean. Breakfast was also lovely! Great value for money would stay here again.

Fantastic Spacious room.

There was a slight delay when we was checking in, this was due to the hotel being unaware that we had booked....not sure whos fault it was. After an hour we had been upgraded and was checked in...phew, it was very busy due to the X Factor Tour and the football. The room was fantastic....spacious the beds were huge. The bathroom was clean and again very spacious. No noise at night from fellow guests, we didn't get back to the hotel until 3.30am. And the breakfast was gorgeous, and you could go back as many times as you wanted. It met all our expectations and wasa worth the money. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and happy, the staff on reception were not as happy.... The only downside was walking back to the hotel late at night....a bit daunting.... I would defintley book again.

Macdonald Hotel in Manchester is great for staying

I was disappointed by poor communication between Skoosh.com and hotel about my booking as they could not trace any record. However hotel staffs were very courtious and contacted me next day to confirm that they could trace the bookings.It was certainly good value for money. Yes my expectations were fully met.

The Macdonald provided a comfortable night

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — I would recommend this hotel as being very handy for the railway station, modern, bright, comfortable and well-equipped. I loved the walk-in shower, the triple glazing, which ensured a peaceful night and the splendid array at breakfast. Real orange juice and good, strong coffee served in an individual cafetiere helped place this hotel above the norm. Its only drawback is its distance from the centre and the rather dingy corner of manchester in which it is cited, but for an overnight stay it is ideal and comes highly recommended.
