We went to Manchester to watch a game at Old Trafford. The stay at the hotel was very good. It was clean, new and the service was very good. It was only about 1,3 k from Old Trafford.

i would say three star. the good points, rooms new in fact all the hotel is as new, very clean modern furniture etc,staff very friendly and helpful. convienient for metro to city centre. breakfast good not over crowded. free safe in room handy.value for money yes. small things to improve on, in room more variety of tea bags, only had earl gray. shampoo, only had conditioner and shampoo together in same container, should be seperate. wardrobe length, short not allowing wifes long dresses to hang freely. larger things, not happy paying each day for parking my car in outside car park. a minimum cost for weekend stay would be better. a gym or better swimming/ sauna would add to its benifit. evening meal a little expensive especially having to pay extra for everything after your initial main course item, eg. lamb.. then pay for roast, veg. and the rest. Stayed in room 819 for 2 nights. Lovely, modern & clean with a great view over Manchester. All staff especially the reception staff were very nice & helpful. The only bad point was the grumpy barmaid who made me feel very uncomfortable because I asked for some ice in my water.

If I come back to Manchester I would definately stay here again.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights in June 09 and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The food menu was fantastic although the room service menu lacked choice. There is a Tesco extra store 2 minutes away which was very handy and the tram stop is literally accross the road. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed overnight in this hotel after seeing a concert at the cricket ground. The hotel was immaculately clean, the staff were nothing other than helpful, and even had pre-pepared packs for those attending the concert with details of how to get there on foot, as well as a picnic which we could order to take with us! Location wise the hotel is easy to get to from Picaddilly Station as the Tram stops opposite. It is well placed for some basic eateries opposite as well as the Lowry outlet mall which was 10mins walk from there. The breakfast the following morning was also really, really good with a good selection of both hot and cold food. Overall, absolutely nothing to complain about and the hotel exceeded all our expectiations. We will definitely stay there next time we need to go to Manchester for anything!
