The Marco Island Hilton is an average hotel sold as a "resort". The "Jr. Suites" are simply basic hotel rooms with a pullout sofabed and an extra sink. They nickel and dime you for everything...parking, beach chairs, umbrellas, internet access, you name it. Drink prices are high and staffing low. We were there at the height of spring break, the hotel was fully booked, but staffing lacked. |

Very clean; spacious rooms; great access to beach; every single hotel employee that we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Our first room had a view of the old Radisson hotel that's being torn down (early March '07). Once the loud demolition started Monday a.m., we asked to be moved and thankfully the next day we were able to be placed on the other side of the Hilton. If we HAD NOT been moved, we would have been extremely disappointed. Our expectations were certainly met. |

The hotel is immaculate, very attractively decorated in an upscale look with plants, flowers, paintings, marble floors. Lots of natural light in the lobby and public areas. It has an open feel. The rooms are very large with all amenities. The maid staff keeps everything very clean. All rooms have balconies. The linens on the beds and in the bath are high quality. The staff is very friendly, helpful and personal. Sitting on the beach on Marco Island it is a very picturesque setting. Chairs, umbrellas, cabanas are available for at extra cost and water sports too. The Paradise restaurant is recommended for the views and ambience. The open porch area is lovely for breakfast and at sunset. I would definitely stay there again. I think it is the best hotel on the island. |
